The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across all branches within the division. Serving as a functional leader, this role works closely with branch General Managers and their operations teams to ensure consistent implementation of best practices, alignment of operational processes, and achievement of divisional performance targets. The Regional Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, safety, and standardization across the division. This includes leading initiatives in continuous improvement, 6S, and maintenance, as well as supporting capital investment strategies. Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures, KPIs, and reporting practices across all branches. Provide operational guidance and functional oversight to branch operations managers through the GM structure. Ensure compliance with divisional policies (safety, quality, purchasing, packaging, maintenance). Monitor divisional performance metrics: throughput, scrap, uptime, on‑time delivery, inventory turns, and EBITDA impact. Partner with branch GMs to identify underperformance, recommend corrective actions, and share best practices. Drive initiatives to improve labor efficiency, material yield, and cost per pound processed. Contribute to development of business cases for capital projects with ROI and payback analysis. Support branch GMs and the VP in prioritizing and executing capital investment projects. Provide functional oversight during equipment upgrades, relocations, and expansions to align with divisional objectives. Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and 6S initiatives at the divisional level, supporting branch teams in adoption and execution. Lead functional projects that reduce waste, optimize flow, and improve service reliability. Audit and measure 6S discipline across branches to maintain safe, organized, and efficient workplaces. Define divisional standards for preventive and predictive maintenance. Track and compare equipment reliability and downtime performance across branches. Recommend investment or process changes to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Act as a functional link between operations at branch level and shared services (HR, Finance, Quality, Corporate Leadership). Align capacity, equipment, and operational planning with divisional sales and purchasing strategies. Support integration of new technology, ERP, and scheduling systems across branches. Translate divisional strategy into clear operational frameworks and measurable objectives. Provide operational input to divisional budget, forecast, and long‑term planning processes. Support due diligence and operational integration for acquisitions, relocations, or new product lines. Qualifications

Minimum, BS or BA degree in business, industrial engineering, distribution or related field. Minimum ten (10) years of experience in distribution/production. Minimum five (5) years of experience in management/supervisory position. Knowledge of industrial engineering, human resources laws and regulations, and employee relations skills. Experience managing other managers.
