Overview

Awake Overnight Residential Counselor (Developmental Services) at Vinfen. The role involves providing direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in small group residential settings or individual living arrangements. You will work with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers and other support staff to build independence skills and improve quality of life. Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in overnight settings. Administer medications under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP). Implement treatment plans and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Support daily routines, safety, and wellbeing of residents during night shifts. Nightly cleaning and filing as part of duties. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field is preferred. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred. Strong time management and writing skills. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months. All applicants must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment. All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference checks, national fingerprinting and driving record check. Pay
