Overview
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s Oil and Gas practice group seeks an attorney with at least four years of experience to join in a full-time, non-remote, partnership-track associate position in the Houston office. Responsibilities
Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, development agreements, operating agreements, and commercial agreements in traditional energy sectors (upstream and midstream oil and gas). Draft and negotiate gathering, transportation, processing, supply, and offtake agreements; and agreements related to carbon capture or other energy transition projects is a plus. Qualifications
At least four years of experience in relevant energy transactions. Texas bar membership preferred, and required within one year of joining the firm. Candidates located in Houston or willing to relocate to Houston. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional information
