Business Development Specialist,
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Business Development Specialist-Transportation Vertical
The primary function of this position is to create long-term value through building mutually beneficial relationships and influencing loyalty within the Transportation vertical. This position will be field-based and cover the United States. The Business Development Specialist will engage decision-makers in the industry through conferences, tradeshows, events, social media, and other means necessary to develop brand awareness, expand the market, and meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred or relevant industry experience
Experience with Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with CRM software
Proven customer development skills with C-Suite experience preferred
Strong presentation skills
2+ years of successful outside sales experience in BSPS or related industry with proven results
Experience selling in a matrix organization and navigating through executive levels of large customers
Knowledge of working with architects, engineers, general contractors, owners, and other specifiers
Other Requirements:
Travel required (up to 50% or more)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism
Maintain and update key account and partner data within CRM (STAR)
Log interactions and follow-ups with contacts in CRM
Develop annual business plans and goals
Collaborate with marketing on vertical-specific collateral and event planning
Work with sales team to develop and maintain key relationships
Attend industry tradeshows, conferences, and partner events to interact with decision-makers
