Position Summary This position is suitable for a candidate seeking to pursue a career in asset management, with a specific focus on reporting and data analytics. The position will support TCW’s Private Credit team, which operates within the Alternative Products Group, and will be focused specifically on reporting and data analytics and related modeling and quantitative analysis. Specific responsibilities will include creating, maintaining, and enhancing data tracking and reporting procedures, developing and troubleshooting the data infrastructure, and creating ad hoc data reports and financial models. These efforts will enhance the group’s ability to track and manage investment and fund performance, support marketing efforts, and improve data analytics capabilities. The candidate must have a background in data management or analytics, with a working knowledge of financial principles and key investment metrics such as IRR and MOIC. The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong work ethics, and able to operate independently and collaboratively. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills are required. This role is hybrid, based in Los Angeles, CA, with frequent overtime and periodic weekend work. Essential Duties Develop, maintain, and improve reporting and data infrastructure to enhance analytics capabilities. Assist with portfolio management, including modeling and performance reporting. Maintain and improve internal performance reporting platforms. Create regular and ad hoc reports for management and investor requests. Support corporate development, fund marketing, and investor questionnaires. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Computer Science. At least three years of relevant experience in financial services, consulting, accounting, or data analytics. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Strong academic credentials. Professional Skills Highly organized with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Desired Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of SQL and VBA Macros. Understanding of financial markets and corporate finance. Ability to analyze financial data from ledgers and statements. Knowledge of fund structures and debt investments. Estimated Compensation Base Salary:
$110k to $125k, plus potential annual discretionary bonus. Benefits:
