Responsibilities
Direct day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors and sub‑contractors to meet approved schedules.
Develop, document and communicate work plans for changes made in the field.
Understand contract documents proactively to anticipate potential problems.
Verify that subcontractors obtain necessary permits.
Maintain credibility with owners, trade contractors, unions and project partners by fostering a fair environment.
Act as the primary safety representative and enforce safety compliance.
Lead contractor meetings, daily reports, and documentation using software tools.
Create, manage and update the project schedule and implement contingency plans.
Communicate schedule status and changes to the project team.
Plan, coordinate and manage jobsite logistics.
Develop the Quality in Construction (QIC) plan in partnership with Operations Excellence.
Order materials and schedule crew via Site Services/Next 150.
Train direct reports (Field Engineers and Superintendents) on project needs, construction knowledge and business acumen.
Review scope of work, support buyout, and assist with Time & Materials tracking.
Lead daily huddles and pre‑task plan reviews.
Assist with financial forecasting and integrate with business development and sales strategies.
Communicate company strategy to direct reports and manage workload and performance.
Create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Assist in junior position tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
7‑12 years of experience leading a work component or whole project with a value of $30 million or larger.
Experience managing luxury residential or hospitality projects with high‑end finishes.
OSHA 30‑hour certification.
STS‑C certification.
First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong technical, communication and organizational skills.
Excellent problem‑solving and adaptability.
Team collaboration and project team engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software tools.
Construction‑document and drawing literacy across all phases.
Experience in scheduling, cost control and safety processes.
Commitment to a safety‑first culture and incident‑free work environment.
Salary is based on location, skills, education and experience and aligns with team equity.
