This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the United States. About The Team

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence through initiating and building strategic relationships, qualifying prospects, and developing qualified business opportunities contributing to the sales pipeline. Working closely with marketing and sales teams, this role involves engaging in marketing activities and campaigns, making initial contact with prospective clients, and generating and qualifying sales opportunities. The BDR collaborates with Account Executives to target markets, position our value proposition, and generate interest in our products and services. They are responsible for generating qualified leads and transitioning these to the sales team. What you will do

Develop an effective pipeline of sales opportunities through lead qualification from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting. Prospect and engage with potential customers via phone, email, social media, and networking events. Maintain excellent relationships with sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and sharing insights on target accounts. Manage leads through the qualification process, working with Account Executives to confirm criteria. Lead initial sales meetings to understand prospects’ pain points and goals, positioning our solutions accordingly. Provide market feedback to refine strategies and positioning. Track all interactions and follow-ups in relevant databases to maintain a healthy pipeline. Source new contacts via external data sources like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Participate in trade shows and training, staying informed about industry trends and market dynamics. Understand and effectively communicate Kinaxis’ value proposition to generate demand. What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of B2B sales development experience. Knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes in a similar industry. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management. Negotiation and persuasion skills. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Effective time management and organizational skills, goal-oriented mindset. Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, Salesforce, and Eloqua (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Valid passport and ability to travel up to 20% as needed. Remote work support for global teams in North America, Europe, and Asia. Additional Information
