Tremco CPG Inc. This position is 100% remote and focuses on driving sales, demand, adoption, and growth within the assigned market segment and technologies. The role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, building essential tools, market positioning, training, and education. The Business Development specialist will be a thought leader and subject matter expert, providing strategic direction and promoting system selling to foster growth. Key Responsibilities
Review and contribute to each local Roofing field sales business plan annually. Participate in local and regional sales teams and training to drive growth through strategic activity. Act as a technical expert for related technologies in the assigned market segment. Identify gaps in the product line and present opportunities for development and growth. Collaborate on pre-launch and post-launch support, including testing, certification, warranties, collateral, and success stories. Work with Sales to create and execute plans to increase sales knowledge and revenue, including new product launches and acquisitions. Coordinate with Learning and Marketing teams on training content and marketing campaigns. Partner with Corporate Development and Strategy to develop business plans and identify M&A targets. Support integration of acquired products and collaborate on next-generation technology development. Create and train on value calculators and represent the company in industry associations and trade shows. Provide regular updates on activities, initiatives, and KPIs to stakeholders. Continuously enhance technical knowledge through self-study and industry engagement. Experience and Qualifications
Deep knowledge of the market segment and technologies. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong industry understanding, business acumen, and decision-making skills. Excellent collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. High initiative, problem-solving skills, and ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Physical Demands
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb ladders, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation and Benefits
The starting base salary is approximately $117,000, with potential variation based on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, 401(k), pension, education, and more. About Tremco CPG Inc.
