Your Role Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of inventory movement of materials and tools, including stocking, restocking, and accounting for every item in the warehouse.
Compile and maintain records of the quantity, type, and value of the inventory on hand.
Participates in monthly and year-end inventory cycle counts and inventory reconciliation issues.
Coordinate inventory requirements and procurement details with the Division’s General Manager.
Track transportation and distribution of tool and material inventory.
Oversee records of all stock and compile evaluation reports; daily auditing of inventory.
Coordinating inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and customers.
Participates in the inventory cycle counting.
Accounting for and reporting inventory surplus, product/tool returns, and any damages.
Replenishing stock in the warehouse and filling of order forms.
Maintaining and overseeing the records of all stocks and compiling reports as needed.
Conducting daily inventory audits.
Ensures all employees and visitors entering the warehouse wear proper safety equipment and security badges at all times.
Works with staff to ensure readiness for any inspection or audit.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and quality management.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and interpersonal skills to interface with and influence all levels of personnel.
Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and overtime.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize daily work and meet deadlines.
Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and/or distribution.
Experience using a forklift and pallet jacks; forklift certification.
