Overview
Total Safety is seeking a Project Manager to support the Turnaround Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising Total Safety personnel and activities during an on-site In-Plant Turn-Around or Project at a customer location. Initiate start-up and close-out of In-Plant Turn-Arounds. Direct and oversee Turn-Around Project Supervisors. Adhere strictly to all Total Safety procedures and In-Plant Turn-Around policies & protocols at the on-site location. Interface with Sales to ensure customer expectations are met. Report to Turnaround Manager on project scheduling and overall performance of the turn-around. Process project billing documents to ensure correct invoicing. Coordinate In-Plant Turn-Around activities and interface with customer management to resolve issues. Ensure proper maintenance of tools, respiratory equipment, breathing air equipment, transport trailers, cascade air banks, pressure-regulating equipment, portable electronics gas detection, and communications equipment. Oversee operation of breathing air compressors and fill stations to support 24-hour dispatch as needed. Ensure PPE and other required equipment are available. Identify needs and submit requests for equipment and materials to sustain on-site support. Oversee customer service in training areas (Qualitative/Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing, Fresh Air Breathing & SCBA training, Pulmonary Function Testing, Bottle Watch training). Enforce performance standards and maintain personnel accountability. Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with Total Safety Operating Procedures and guidelines. Encourage and support professional development and training of subordinates. Maintain high integrity and professionalism in carrying out duties and responsibilities. Skills and Experience
A minimum of three years of operations experience in the petrochemical or industrial safety equipment industry, with at least one year with Total Safety, Inc. A minimum of two years in a supervisory or management position. A minimum of 120 days or more experience in the Project Supervisor role. Completed all training as required by a Project Supervisor; additionally trained-the-trainer qualified and has completed internal Financial Management training. Working Environment
