Our growing company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. If you're a construction professional with a strong background in project management, and you're looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement project strategies to meet our business goals, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Manage the entire life cycle of the project, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Oversee project teams, including architects, engineers, and construction workers, ensuring all parties are working towards a common goal.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
Review work progress on a daily basis and make detailed project reports.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Resolve any problems that may arise during construction.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
Commercial and/or Residential Construction experience.
Proven experience managing all phases of construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction details and building codes.
Proficient in project management software.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
