Primary Purpose Provide supervisory leadership to crews in assigned geographic areas, including the Greenup and Morehead compressor stations. Oversee safety, environmental programs, compliance, budgeting, employee training, and administrative functions relevant to operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Provide supervisory leadership to crews in assigned geographic areas.

Supervise, communicate, schedule, and lead direct reports.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and government regulations.

Develop and manage budgets, employee training, and development.

Operate and maintain pipeline transmission facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Operate and maintain process equipment, instrumentation, pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.

Ensure cost‑effective performance of pumps, exchangers, engines, and related equipment.

Install, repair, service, and maintain instrumentation, valves, pipes, and pipeline appurtenances.

Maintain and repair all facilities and equipment, including pipelines, concrete work, painting, building erection, and weed control.

Operate equipment such as industrial wheeled tractors, water pumps, air compressors, expanders, and coolers.

Represent the company during contacts with landowners, tenants, public officials, and local meetings.

Oversee construction and maintenance activities performed by third parties.

Train and oversee company and third‑party personnel as required.

Perform governmental compliance activities.

Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.

Participate in safety programs and initiatives.

Develop O&M, site‑specific, and project procedures, scopes, and work plans.

Complete and maintain all applicable documentation and record keeping.

Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience / Specific Knowledge

Prior supervisory experience or a minimum of five years experience in the natural gas industry.

Knowledge of company procedures and government regulations relevant to pipeline operations.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Subject to license or certification requirements or training as stipulated by local, state or federal agencies or the Company.

Competencies, Skills, And Abilities

Plan, organize, document, prioritize, and complete work efficiently.

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage crews at multiple locations.

Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in English.

Strong commitment to safety.

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals).

Basic computer skills (MS Office, operating systems, company software).

Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, regulatory and tariff requirements.

Demonstrate performance and leadership toward operational excellence.

Attention to detail.

Physical Demands

Physically capable of completing training requirements and meeting agency or company policy.

Climb in and out of trenches and work from elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways.

Lift a minimum of 20 pounds in awkward positions and 50 pounds from floor to waist.

Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and carry up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

May work in low‑lit areas.

Must withstand extreme weather conditions.

Travel between multiple locations required.

Must be available for shift work when applicable.

Field activities may include walking to and among work and construction sites, climbing in and out of trenches, working around heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.

Must be available to respond to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis.

Preferred Education

Preference may be given to candidates with college degrees, especially a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or similar programs.
