The Role The Sr Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to a growing team as we scale those offerings and continue to build meaningful data insights for the business. This role will work directly with AXS data leadership as well as clients and partners in the US and abroad (Europe and Japan).
What Will You Do?
Leverage strong analysis competencies to drive business insights across AXS through SQL, Looker as well as Google & Adobe Analytics.
Develop ongoing performance reporting for management in all operational areas of the business and distribute reports as needed. Provide in-depth analysis of web analytics & marketing data and summarize findings with recommendations.
Mentor junior team members as it relates to analysis best practices.
Contribute strong analyses to the creation of business insights & recap presentations.
Monitor data sources & ensure the accuracy of data for reporting purposes.
Drive complex problems through to solutions.
Work across functions in the organization and with clients and partners to understand and address their data & analysis needs.
Build LookML models & Looker dashboards to communicate insights.
What Will You Bring?
BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) In Business, Analytics, MIS, Economics or another analytical field.
4-6 years in Business Analytics, MIS, Economics or another analytical field.
Experience with digital and/or social media marketing & web analytics.
Experience with modern analytic & data visualization tools.
Experience with programming and/or statistical analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS).
Strong quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from large data sets, exceptional attention to detail, and a desire to creatively solve challenging problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts and analytical findings to a wide variety of audiences, from executives to field staff.
General business acumen, with the ability to analyze the live events industry and recommend business improvements.
Ability and initiative to manage multiple short and long-term projects independently, while building effective partnerships with stakeholders across the company.
Comfort with the Microsoft Office suite as well as advanced analytical tools & data analysis methodologies.
Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced work environment; hack, test and learn mentality; team player.
Music or other entertainment experience a plus; a passion for music and knowledge of artists and industry trends preferred.
Certified Business Intelligence Professional.
Pay Scale:
$78,000- $90,000
