As a Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, you’ll join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and creating positive experiences for the communities we serve. Your responsibilities include merchandising and processing freight. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with all store functions and daily activities Perform opening and closing procedures as needed Protect and secure company assets, including store cash Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store Ensure a positive and respectful environment for customers and staff Perform other duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities:
Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise Manage freight flow and stock merchandise efficiently Order and stock merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items Maintain a sales-effective sales floor Merchandise and maintain clip strips and power panels Plan and implement monthly sales plans Your Skills and Experience:
Retail and management experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills required Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks Ability to work in a high-energy team environment Benefits:
