Project Engineer I/II/III – Focused on Design, Acquisition, Installation of Critical Systems Jubilant HollisterStier LLC is a nationally recognized contract manufacturer of sterile injectable vials and lyophilized products, serving the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities

Participate on project teams responsible for the design, acquisition, installation and upgrade of critical systems and equipment used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.

Assume responsibility for lower level capital and expense engineering projects involving facility or production equipment, cost reduction, process improvement, cGMP upgrades, and related technical activities.

Interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications, logic diagrams, schematics, and verbiage to support project activities.

Document design calculations, specifications, cost estimates, equipment acquisition schedules, and cGMP knowledge in accordance with engineering documentation systems.

Provide technical support for engineering facility projects including facility and utility expansion, compliance upgrades, cost reduction, contract manufacturing, process improvements, and construction projects.

Contribute expertise in facility engineering, including design, modification, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical systems such as HVAC, Clean Steam, WFI, electrical, and pharmaceutical construction methods.

Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies and follow the “Project Management Guidelines” system for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.

Collaborate with internal customers (Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Validation, Finance) and external customers (regulatory agencies, A&E firms, construction firms, vendors, equipment manufacturers).

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering field.

Pharmaceutical and FDA regulated industry experience desired.

Experience in project management or project engineering (3–7+ years depending on level).

Mechanical aptitude and exposure to allergen production.

Working in aseptic areas, confined spaces, prolonged sitting and standing required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Project, AutoCAD desired).

Knowledge of ISPE Baseline Guides and validation documentation.

Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted.

Shift Weekday Days, Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits

Project Engineer I: $81,825.00–120,000 annually (midpoint above reserved for employees with longevity and outstanding performance).

Project Engineer II: $89,250.00–130,900 annually (midpoint above reserved for employees with longevity and outstanding performance).

Project Engineer III: $102,075.00–149,700 annually (midpoint above reserved for employees with longevity and outstanding performance).
