Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
who will ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of all industrial equipment and facilities. The person who fills this role needs to be committed to continuous improvement through regular inspections, timely repairs, and rigorous adherence to industry best practices, thereby supporting the overall productivity and profitability of our organization. Addressing electrical issues to ensure safe and continued operation of production equipment.
Conducting mechanical repairs and maintenance to optimize machinery performance.
Executing welding tasks for equipment repair and fabrication needs.
Handling maintenance and repairs to address and prevent issues within the facility.
Overseeing general facility maintenance to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
Who are You? Must possess a high school degree (or equivalent). Technical training or associates level college is a plus.
Experience with machine control systems and 480 volt/3 phase industrial power, and various electronic components such as HMI and AC/DC drives.
Skills in mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
Valid driver's license required.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license within City of Altoona highly desirable.

Safely operate a manlift.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
Use a torch safely and correctly.
Wear a respirator.
Read/Understand blueprints.
Follow oral and/or written instructions and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

$27.42 to $31.35
Shift Differential ( $0.55 - 2nd shift / $0.60 - 3rd shift )
Overtime (any hours worked over 8 per day)
