Compensation Pay Range $16.50 - $24.50 The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include performance-based incentives, premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed, and multiple premiums if applicable.
The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery vehicles, including daily inspections.
Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
Handle customer returns and complete driver return slips.
Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or damages immediately.
Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured at day's end.
Follow clock-in/out policies.
Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns as assigned.
Assist customers, serve as cashier, or support merchandising when needed.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities Required:
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
Driving record meeting company standards (14/18-point system).
Valid state driver's license and compliance with company driving requirements.
Desired:
Familiarity with automotive parts.
Ability to operate light store equipment.
Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
