Job Description for Inventory Specialist
The Inventory Specialist will play a key role in managing the inventory program. They will oversee processes and procedures related to a large-volume, small-part inventory, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze large data sets. A mindset focused on continuous improvement is essential. Responsibilities include: Tracking all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation and associated materials (e.g., splitters, construction materials, vaults, markers) on contractor sites—not in client warehouses. Labeling and properly placing inventory items. Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers. Auditing equipment and parts. Unpacking, sorting, and staging units for production. Receiving units with RF handheld devices. Performing cycle counts and audits following company policies. Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications
Ability to prioritize workflow and work independently. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods. Flexible schedule. Computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, are a plus. Additional Details
