Details Location: On site at our facility in Hinesburg, VT.

Shift: Monday – Friday 12:30pm – 9:00pm.

Hourly rate: starting from $19/hour + 10% shift differential.

Job Summary The Processing Machine Operator will be responsible for efficiently operating and monitoring machines that cut, fill, and seal cooked products. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth and precise functioning of the production process, meeting quality standards and production targets while maintaining a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and oversee machines involved in the cutting, filling, and sealing of cooked products.

Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.

Monitor production output to ensure compliance with established quality standards and adjust as necessary.

Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets while maintaining a high level of efficiency.

Maintain a sanitary work environment by following proper cleaning procedures, including regular sanitation of equipment and work areas.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a secure working environment for yourself and team members.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to CGMP guidelines.

Qualifications / Requirements

High School degree or equivalent.

Experience working in a production environment, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to bend, stretch, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.

Regularly bend and lift up to 30-75 lbs.

Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Regularly required to talk and hear.

Regularly required to visually observe objects up close and at a distance.

Regularly requires hands to handle or feel and finger dexterity.

Ability to work in 38° Fahrenheit temperature and wet environment.

Mental Demands

Regularly required to use oral communication skills.

Learn and apply new information or skills.

Regularly required to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy when interacting with the team.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing plant and office environment.

English is the primary language; training materials are written in English. For individuals who do not speak English as their primary language, translation will be provided.
