Supervise and direct work activity of Leads in assigned area; distribute workload; motivate and empower subordinates. Develop subordinates with development plans; identify continuous improvement opportunities; eliminate waste; champion Lean Kaizen events; participate in cost-reduction programs. Coordinate new product launches with Engineering; ensure quality standards focused on continuous improvement; contain sources of quality issues; communicate with customers; coordinate corrective action. Perform capacity analysis, determine staffing requirements, ensure departmental productivity targets are met; troubleshoot scheduling and material issues; develop and deploy standardized work instructions; ensure process stability and safety compliance. Maintain the Operation Showcase; conduct safety investigations and audits; address safety non-compliance. Qualifications
B.A./B.S. in a related technical or business discipline; two or more years of manufacturing experience; ability to analyze reports; knowledge of manufacturing processes; working knowledge of regulations (FAA, safety); strong interpersonal and training skills. Additional Information
