Facilities Associate Principal (Building Enclosure/Structural Restoration)

ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our Mid-Atlantic Facilities team in Mount Laurel, NJ. In this role, you’ll oversee projects related to building enclosure consulting, and/or structural systems. If you have a strong technical background, and proven leadership skills, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will work primarily in the Greater Philadelphia region and across the mid-Atlantic states. You will be actively engaged in working with senior leaders in developing local and regional business strategy for creating new service lines, innovation initiatives, recruiting, and client development.
Responsibilities
Consulting services for the built environment including, but not limited to, specialized building enclosure and/or structural testing, building enclosure and/or structural consulting, forensic investigations, property condition assessments, and design of repairs to existing structures.
Provide technical expertise and support Facilities staff within the region.
Oversee projects related to building enclosure testing, assessment and commissioning, and structural forensic investigations and analysis.
Perform technical report reviews.
Prepare and review proposals.
Assist in business development and marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
Lead and coach junior staff members.
Perform responsibilities at regional level.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Civil (Structural) Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred.
8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Licensed or certified as one of the following: Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP, University of Wisconsin‑Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE.
