This senior-level position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving detailed production schedules to support efficient manufacturing operations. The role works closely with procurement, operations, logistics, and quality teams to meet customer delivery commitments, reduce inventory, and maximize resource utilization. The Planner / Scheduler III also contributes strategically to capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and ongoing process improvements. What is the Job?

Develop and oversee mid- to long-term master production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, customer demand, and inventory goals. Convert demand plans into production work orders, ensuring material and labor availability. Partner with procurement and inventory teams to secure material supply; identify potential shortages, communicate risks, and implement recovery plans. Balance workloads across work centers and resolve capacity constraints to optimize production flow. Track daily production performance, addressing delays and bottlenecks promptly. Maintain and analyze schedules using ERP / MRP systems. Ensure timely delivery of customer orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Lead cross-functional scheduling meetings to align priorities and resolve conflicts. Drive best practices and continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes. Prepare reports and dashboards on key metrics such as schedule adherence and capacity utilization. Support new product launches by incorporating requirements into production plans. Mentor and train junior planners or schedulers. What is Needed?

Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning / scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, M2M). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity planning. Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Knowledge of demand planning tools and forecasting methods. Advanced Excel skills or experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Work Environment :
