Summary:
Performs, supports, and processes production operations across various plant areas, including but not limited to the Press Room, Roll Stand, Hugo Beck Operation, Folder/Gluer, Die Cutter, and Material Handling. The role emphasizes excellence in OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) and Quality, aiming to protect the environment, health, and safety of all employees and the community. It also involves ensuring quality through adherence to systems, processes, and product standards. Responsibilities
Receive product from press, stack, and palletize. Understand and operate basic functions of Hugo Beck Bundling System, including setup, troubleshooting, webbing, and bundle management. Pull, stack, and load products onto pallets, ensuring correct labeling and loading based on job specifications. Review finished products for quality and accuracy, report issues to operators, and ensure error-free jobs. Assist with downtime procedures, such as webbing presses, cleaning, and setup tasks. Set up and breakdown of doctor blades, dispose of used blades safely, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration. Prepare and changeover equipment, including cylinders, rollers, and ink systems, following safety and procedural guidelines. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards, handle hazardous materials properly, and support OHSE policies. Support rollstand tasks, including roll mounting, splicing, and viscosity maintenance. Operate forklifts safely for material handling, maintain certifications, and support press operations with material logistics. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, 1-3 years related production experience or equivalent, good mechanical skills, and forklift certification if applicable. Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, prolonged standing, bending, reaching, manual dexterity, and shift flexibility. Our Expectations:
