Wedgewood is the nation’s largest and most trusted provider of compounded veterinary medications. Our Customer Care Specialists currently start at $18 an hour plus bonuses and incentives. This position offers the ability to easily work flexible schedules. When will you work? New-hire education consists of six weeks of paid in-classroom training at our Swedesboro, New Jersey campus; Monday - Friday.

Weeks 1-3: M-F, 8 AM-4:30 PM Weeks 4-6: M-F, start times may be 9 AM or 10 AM. You will learn about our state-of-the-art laboratories and impressive shipping and warehousing operations while being trained to become a Customer Care Specialist and a registered New Jersey Pharmacy Technician. The available shift after the six weeks of in-classroom training is 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until the next shift bid, where this may change .

The call center is open from 8:00am to 9:00pm M-F and 9-5pm Saturdays.

This position will be on a hybrid basis and after on-site training it will require 2 days a week in office.

You will work 1 Saturday/month (9 AM-5 PM), and 1 additional Sat/quarter. All Customer Care employees participate in regular shift bids where work schedules are awarded to each employee based on tenure and performance. This affords every agent the ability to regularly compete and be awarded a more desirable schedule. What you’ll do: Deliver customer service with kindness, empathy, understanding, and patience Efficiently navigate patient and prescriber profiles across systems Ability to adapt quickly to each customer interaction - inbound, outbound, and written, through email, phone, SMS, chat and mailed prescriptions. Cohesively work with a team, as well as independently Ability to interact with team members across pharmacy and fulfillment facilities. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while keeping our pet patients and customers front and center. Who you are: Has acquired or can acquire a New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License. A coachable, quick learner who is comfortable with change A compassionate and caring individual who loves animals and those that care for them Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to adhere to procedures Self-motivated and energized; excelling in a fast-paced environment An effective and persuasive communicator Computer-savvy, navigating the internet with ease A reliable co-worker with a positive, professional attitude. No exceptions!
