Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Minooka, Illinois. Position Type: Full-time. Schedule: Second Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Location: Minooka, Illinois. Compensation highlights: Hourly Pay $22.50, Additional Pay $0.50 per hour, Overtime Pay $33.75 per hour. Products handled: Appliances. Equipment: Sit-down forklift, clamp attachment. Lead and drive continuous improvement for efficient warehouse operations. Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize daily work to ensure optimal shift/team logistics. Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles. Provide orientation and the necessary information, technology, and tools for employees to perform their jobs. Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse. Handle day-to-day paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading). Complete daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations and service levels. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year or more of powered industrial truck experience preferred. One year or more of prior Team Lead experience preferred. One year or more of Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred. One year or more of warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner required. Valid forklift operator's license certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; maintains composure under pressure. Health and safety awareness; bilingual ability (Québec locations) if applicable. EEO
