Business Development Advisor
to join our award-winning team and expand our national footprint. As a Barron’s Top 100 RIA firm, we focus on client acquisition and educating prospects about our wealth management services. This is an in-office role based in Greensboro, NC. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr What you’ll do as a Business Development Advisor
Lead Engagement & Sales Strategy: Respond quickly and professionally to inbound leads from digital channels; conduct warm discovery calls to qualify prospects and determine fit; clearly communicate Mission Wealth’s value proposition; determine lead qualification using CRM data enrichment tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Zoom, Catchlight, etc.). Lead Closing, Transition, Education: Partner with servicing teams to develop, present, and close planning-based financial plans; become a high-level expert on Mission Wealth’s investment solutions; develop value-based needs and solutions for prospects; transition converted leads to servicing advisors and stay involved through implementation conversations; educate prospective clients on comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies. Outbound Prospecting & Nurture: Proactively follow up with cold, warm, and stale leads via phone, text, email, and marketing automation; track and manage pipeline activity in CRM; schedule consultations and monitor no-shows and re-engagement workflows; surface lead quality trends to inform marketing strategies. Marketing & Sales Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to test messaging, refine nurture campaigns, and improve conversion rates; provide feedback on lead sources and ROI; participate in discussions on sales scripts, SOPs, and performance metrics; coordinate lead follow-ups with marketing and sales leadership. Administrative Sales Support: Assist with CRM reporting, lead assignment tracking, and operational follow-through; support proposal meeting prep and post-call summaries; ensure professional, responsive experiences for prospective clients. Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven: You value timely follow-up, accurate data entry, and CRM consistency. Tech-Savvy: You can learn platforms like Salesforce, Pardot, Calendly, and AI tools quickly. Collaborative & Growth-Minded: You enjoy working with marketing and advisors to refine what’s working. Qualifications & Requirements
2–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or advising roles; financial services experience preferred Proven ability to manage outbound and inbound lead flows and convert to booked meetings and closed clients CFP®, S65, or a firm grasp of planning concepts preferred (or willingness to attain designation within 12 months) Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems; strong organization and pipeline management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a consultative and empathetic approach Experience with high-volume calling, prospect qualification, and structured conversion processes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high-touch, white-glove experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Job Details
