Responsibilities

Guides reviews and validates product non‑conformances and disposition types, quality procedures and engineering requirements.

Oversees analysis and evaluation of product, operational and process quality; directs review of production plans.

Performs failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems using advanced design knowledge.

Supports root cause analysis of nonconformances, verifying accuracy of results in collaboration with technical authorities.

Implements process and product improvements through technical initiatives.

Directs problem resolution ensuring effective Quality Management System performance.

Manages corrective/preventive action plans, ensuring timely completion.

Approves quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.

Validates corrective action to eliminate causes of nonconformance.

Monitors verification activity performance.

Produces formal analytical reports and coordinates distribution internally/external.

Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years experience with CAPA, RCCA and related quality corrective actions.

5+ years experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

5+ years experience mining, analyzing data and presenting findings.

5+ years experience in a Quality role.

5+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years related work experience or equivalent education/experience.

Experience with RCCA, CAs, Quality Investigations, BPSMs.

Aerospace and Manufacturing experience.

Experience with Quality Management Systems.

Material Review Board (MRB) experience.

Presenting and communicating to leadership.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
