Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated Project Manager to work in its Surveying Group. This position involves working on a variety of survey projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, IDOT plat of highways, topographic surveying, and more. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, project collaboration, and teamwork.
Responsibilities Include
Leadership skills and team member oversight.
Participate in business development with current and new clients.
Develop accurate budgets and proposals.
Direct and manage personnel assigned to the survey group.
Track costs and maintain project budgets.
Manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
Plat creation, boundary calculations, and oversight.
Research public records online and at the recorder’s office.
Requirements
Be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with at least ten (10) years of experience working as a land surveyor in Illinois.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Trimble Business Center.
Ability to operate Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines, and stay focused.
