We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician who will perform, assist, and advise on all assigned maintenance activities of ACI Jet aircraft, maintaining positive relationships with employees, vendors, and clients, either personally or through subordinate staff. The Flight Operations Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Director of Maintenance. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Completing tasks assigned in accordance with procedures set forth in ACI Jet’s Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM). Coordinate with hangar supervisors and Flight Operations to ensure safe and efficient repair and return to service of ACI Jet aircraft. Comply with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures. Ensure appropriate technical data is available during maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration activities. Maintain shop premises in a clean and orderly manner. Complete and document maintenance or alteration processes electronically on maintenance forms per ACI Jet’s ACOM. Develop and maintain maintenance due lists for inspection and repair scheduling with the repair station. Monitor daily activities for the Flight Operations maintenance department by receiving field calls regarding unscheduled maintenance. Perform debriefs with flight crew during preflight and postflight as required. Tow aircraft, taxi aircraft and perform run ups according to standards and procedures. Complete all aircraft servicing functions (e.g., oxygen/nitrogen service, oil and hydraulic checks). Submit all required work orders, reports, and other forms to the appropriate authority in a timely manner. Maintain a productive relationship with ACI Jet managers, peers, manufacturer’s representatives, repair facilities, and the FAA. Ensure safety and quality by actively participating in ACI Jet’s SQMS program. Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required

A passion for aviation. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid A&P License. Must have at least 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance operations. Experience with troubleshooting, use of specialized tools, ground support equipment, and the use of aircraft maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, technical reports and forms. Familiar with aircraft logbook procedures and computer-based aircraft maintenance tracking systems. Ability to work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Highly motivated, detail oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task. Computer proficiency (MS Office, Aviation Maintenance Software). Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods. Must have own tools and toolbox. On-call availability if required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including reading, writing, and speaking English at an advanced level. Highly Desirable

Formal Bombardier, Gulfstream, and/or Cessna factory training. College or Technical degree preferred. Other

Maintenance Technicians may be required to perform on-call duties and travel without notice, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position which will require placement in a random drug test pool. Pay: $30 - $60/hr DOE Seniority level
