Our markets are growing worldwide. Our assets provide a global manufacturing base to grow with our customers and meet needs around the world. How The Role Fits In

Load product into tank trucks and railcars and unload raw materials from tank trucks and railcars. Monitor process utilities such as cooling water, air compressors, and wastewater treatment. Manipulate valve lineups to transfer chemicals. Purge and clear process lines as required. Walk out transfers to ensure no leaks or spills. Take daily readings on process parameters (levels, pressures, temperatures). Prepare equipment for maintenance activities. Work with engineers to update or create procedures. Monitor and control process equipment and machinery using a DCS to meet production goals safely and effectively in accordance with policies, safety, health and environmental rules; ensure the quality of raw materials and product. Responsibilities And Accountabilities

SHE Stewardship

Maintain safety as the highest priority and abide by all INEOS safety policies and procedures. Understand and promote the INEOS 20 Principles of Safety and safety concepts such as “Coaching for Safety” and “Stop Work”. Promote safety through communication before task execution, during meetings, and as opportunities arise. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements and strive to meet internal SHE objectives. Ensure completion of own and direct subordinate training requirements as outlined in the annual training schedule. Work Duties

Confer with peers, technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency and product quality. Make shift relief at the beginning and end of each shift. Keep a daily log for work area. Feed materials into vessels or tanks and operate controls to start and regulate processes. Maintain system at specified temperature and pressure; observe reactions and monitor gauges and recorders. Draw samples for laboratory analysis. Use GC’s and lab equipment to analyze samples. Maintain logs of readings and production. Inspect equipment for leaks and hazards; prepare equipment safely for maintenance; use appropriate PPE. Maintain up-to-date certifications, qualifications, and training records per progression policy. Assist in Emergency Response; fire brigade participation may be required. Perform truck loading operations and spot railcars safely and efficiently; inspect rail track and notify for repairs. Unload LPG rail cars. Complete locomotive checks and manage engine operations as required. Anticipate and solve routine process problems and alarm situations to minimize upsets and costs. Know the location and use of safety equipment; report abnormalities for repair. Complete trainings and participate in meetings. Be available for overtime as needed. Follow safety procedures and instruct others on safety precautions. Education/Experience

Skills & Knowledge Required

High school diploma Prior chemical plant operations experience helpful AAS degree in Process Technology preferred Skills/Competencies

Proficiency with office equipment and software (PC, calculator, phone, copier, printer, scanner) Microsoft Office Suite and related tools; SAP and other site systems may be required Ability to communicate effectively and possess good mechanical skills Physical Requirements

Physical work involving handling of process equipment and machinery Climbing stairs, lifting, etc. Ability to wear respirator Possible Conditions To Be Subjected To
