Job Description Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a

Senior Supply Chain Specialist

to join our team in

Scott AFB, IL . The position is a customer liaison at the Air Force Sustainment Center, 635th Supply Chain Operations Group, Scott AFB, Illinois. Responsibilities include analyzing stock balances and consumption rates to determine spare requirements, working with product asset managers to assess level setting, and using the USAF Supply System via Integrated Logistics System‑Supply (ILS‑S), FLITES, and BLADE. The role coordinates customer requisitions, monitors delivery dates, optimizes material usage, and applies inventory management principles at retail and wholesale levels. A secret security clearance is required.

Position Responsibilities

Analyzes post‑production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.

Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action.

Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity, and performs assessment of configuration change impact to the supply support system.

Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs.

Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.

Identifies supply chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.

Basic Qualifications

Experience working with USAF supply chain customers.

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Word.

5+ years of experience in a customer service role.

5+ years of experience with Integrated Logistics Systems‑Supply (ILS‑S).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
