As the

Lean Six Sigma Engineer , you will use LSS methods and techniques to improve repeatable processes, ensuring the delivery of important goals. You will report to the Plant Manager. Do you want to lead change with the capability for advancement? If so, read on!

Key Responsibilities

Operations and maintenance standard work process implementation

Post implementation coach for standard work process teams

Train team members on Lean Six Sigma processes and guide capability improvement.

Steward of the site 3–5-year site improvement plan (SIP)

Facilitate annual Value Stream Map activity to identify gaps between current state and SIP

Develop improvement plans and measure the impact to organizational performance and structure

Ensure all improvement activities connect to business technology plan (BTP)

Continuous Improvement leader for the site

Engage with plant floor and operations associates

Oversee improvement cycle - preparation, facilitation, implementation, sustainment, performance tracking of JDI, PDCA, Kaizen and DMAIC events

Owner of monthly plant continuous improvement metrics - performance, financial performance, and cultural transformation

Participate in regional LSS/Continuous Improvement community collaboration session monthly

Advocate and ensure adoption of CI software and tracking tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or process-driven field, Master's degree preferred

8+ years' of working experience, including operational role (e.g., plant or operations management)

Minimum LSS Green Belt certification, Black Belt certification preferred

The base salary range for this position is 105K-115K annually.
