Subcontractor Procurement Specialist

The Subcontractor Procurement Specialist proactively identifies, vets, and manages subcontractor relationships across multiple regions. This role ensures a strong network of qualified subcontractors, maintains compliance with company processes, and supports project needs. Responsibilities
Research, identify, and establish relationships with subcontractors in various regions to expand the company’s network. Maintain an up‑to‑date database of subcontractors, capabilities, coverage areas, and past performance. Ensure all subcontractors complete the required Subcontractor Agreement and compliance documentation before project engagement. Verify subcontractor credentials, including licenses, insurance, and certifications. Prepare and distribute RFP packages, track responses, and conduct bid leveling to compare proposals. Collaborate with estimating and project teams to determine subcontractor needs and allocate resources efficiently. Support pre‑construction team by facilitating subcontractor selection and engagement for required work. Continuously refine procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 4‑6 years of experience in procurement, bid leveling, contract management, or RFP processes. Understanding of construction industry standards, subcontractor agreements, and compliance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and project‑based accounting software. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Salary
