Our client, a successful financial technology and services company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated strategic leader for a Project Manager position in their central NJ office. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects remain on-schedule and that all relevant stakeholders are kept apprised of the overall goals and the achievement of key milestones through each project’s lifecycle.
Responsibilities Portfolio & Program Management
Oversee project management, resource allocation, and risk management.
Monitor and report on project and program performance, using KPIs and dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability.
Ensure successful delivery of programs and projects on time, within scope and budget.
Governance & Compliance
Enforce consistent project management processes and documentation standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
Facilitate regular portfolio reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and strategic initiatives within projects.
Serve as a key liaison between the client, company and other stakeholders.
Communicate project goals, expectations, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP).
Proven experience managing enterprise-level project portfolios and complex programs.
Strong knowledge of project management tools, software (e.g., MS Project, Excel), and project methodologies.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and business acumen
The ability to make decisions in uncertain environments
Expertise in change and risk management
An analytical mindset and attention to detail
The ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Salary Range : $95,000 - $135,000
