Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary: This position involves conducting thorough inspections, tests, and evaluations to identify and rectify defects or deviations from established standards. The Quality Control Inspector will collaborate closely with production teams and other departments to maintain and improve product quality. Key Responsibilities

Product Inspection:

Conduct general inspections of vehicles, products, components, and materials at various stages of the production process. Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities. Quality Assurance:

Verify that vehicles, products, components, and materials meet or exceed established quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Testing and Measurement:

Perform basic tests, measurements, and evaluations using a variety of tools and equipment to assess product quality. Record and analyze test data to identify trends or issues. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results, defects, and corrective actions taken. Generate reports and documentation as required. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with manufacturing teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Communicate inspection findings and quality issues effectively. Continuous Improvement:

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production processes. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Work Instructions:

Assist in pre-production inspections, Bill of Materials and Work Instruction development and updating. Resource Assistance:

Advise leadership regarding resource needs, including equipment, tools, materials, and safety supplies to ensure efficient and effective operations. Other Duties:

As assigned. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Five (5) years of related experience. Certified Production Technician, Certified Automation Professional. Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and handle heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Manual dexterity for handling small parts and components. Comfort working in various weather conditions. Extended periods of standing, bending, and reaching. Why Choose AMR?
