Inventory Control Clerk I - Sutures 3rd shift
– Arthrex Requisition ID: 63968 Location: Ave Maria, FL Division: Arthrex Manufacturing Inc (US02) The 3rd shift is Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am. This role supports the Sutures Department by prepackaging Work Orders accurately and in a timely manner to ensure throughput, workflow, and production plan goals are met. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Prepares, issues and kits materials based on the Work Order BOM and/or Transfer Order requirements according to Work Instructions and departmental guidelines to ensure continuous workflow and adherence to the Production schedule and expedite list.
Assigns material retrieval/return instructions to Inventory control specialists assisting with Work Order preparation.
Counts and issues materials and overages according to released work instructions.
Prints and applies tags for Work In Process (WIP) material prior to production use.
Verifies tags on all kitted materials and ensures tag information matches the BOM.
Verifies that the issued materials match the BOM required to manufacture the product.
Generates lot-specific product packaging labels using printers according to the router and BOM, ensuring labels are accurate and complete.
Ensures the Device History Record (DHR) is complete and accurate, including all approvals, prior to forwarding the Work Order kit for further processing.
Promptly notifies area Coordinators and/or Supervisor of any physical inventory discrepancies, ERP and/or manufacturing system errors, mislabeled components, missing components, or other inventory anomalies.
Keeps workstation organized and compliant with Area Clearance and Line Separation procedures.
Completes fulfillment of additional material/label requests from in-process work orders in an expedient manner, ensuring SAP/ERP system is updated and work order documentation is correct and complete.
Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills
Ability to interpret a Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare materials as specified.
Accurate issuance of materials to production work orders in ERP/manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of basic warehousing concepts and importance of accurate inventory counts and material pulls from storage locations.
Moderate computer knowledge for material issuance and inventory tracking and control.
Ability to navigate Documentum (or other DMS), Agile and ERP systems independently.
Basic production/manufacturing knowledge.
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions/documents.
Experience in prepackaging/inventory/stocking preferred.
Windows-based computer skills for material issuance and inventory tracking.
Knowledge Limited use of basic principles, theories, and concepts; limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.
Machine, Tools, And/or Equipment Skills
Label dispensers, printers (thermal/direct transfer and laser), label counters, scales, bag sealers, printers/scanners, barcode scanners, laminar flow hoods, PCs, vision inspection systems, and related software.
Language And Communication Skills
Ability to understand and apply language requirements to perform the job.
Effective verbal communication with team members and management.
Clear and legible writing and data recording as required by procedures.
Physical Demands Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and frequently bend and lift 50–70 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available.
Work Environment Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations available.
