The
Quality Assurance Analyst
position will be responsible for managing the quality assurance plan, evaluating, and analyzing electronic crash data submissions to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data is received. This role involves maintaining the integrity of electronic crash data through daily analysis of vendor data submissions, requiring a thorough understanding of the electronic crash data process, the Electronic Crash Certification Guide, and the Traffic Crash Reporting System (TCRS) database. The analyst will act as a liaison to vendors and agencies regarding electronic crash data submission questions. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining procedures, guidelines, graphs, and flowcharts for the Traffic Crash Reporting Unit (TCRU), which governs the collection, submission, processing, posting, and maintenance of crash data. The position must operate in a bias-free manner. Position Description

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience
Departmental Analyst 9 : No specific experience required. Departmental Analyst 10 : One year of professional experience. Departmental Analyst P11 : Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service. Educational level typically acquired through high school completion and at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may substitute for the education requirement. This position requires passing a pre-employment screening, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.
