Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities: Develop and build strong project teams, ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, scope management, timely delivery, and budget adherence. Drive division profitability through effective project execution. Lead project management goals, procurement, contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning. Improve departmental systems and processes to meet customer needs and profitability. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 3 direct and 10 total reports. Review contractual requirements and design methodologies for projects. Ensure project schedules are met, adjusting priorities as needed. Communicate with customers to validate expectations before, during, and after project completion. Oversee third-party construction firms. Manage project financials, including forecasting and change orders. Ensure high-quality engineering and project delivery. Communicate challenges, risks, and successes proactively. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in electrical commercial/mixed-use construction. Understanding of electric power engineering. Field experience coordinating with construction management. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts. Ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects. Proven ability to manage a profitable portfolio. Excellent initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written. Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills. Electrical engineering or Construction Management degrees preferred. Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
