Job Description
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of properties within our real estate portfolio. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, to enhance the overall tenant experience. The technician will also be tasked with diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to prevent future problems. By maintaining high standards of property upkeep, the Maintenance Technician contributes to tenant satisfaction and retention. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
Experience in property management or real estate maintenance.
Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems as required.
Install and repair drywall, perform carpentry work, and ensure all areas are in compliance with safety regulations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and address issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
