JOB SUMMARY The QA Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and addressing Quality Improvement opportunities in all GMP areas. They possess extensive knowledge of cGMPs, quality processes, and procedures, and are accountable for the Annual Product Quality Review (APQR), investigations of Non-Conforming products and materials, and conducting Customer Complaint investigations. WHAT YOU WILL DO Document customer complaints in the Complaint Database and maintain the database. Determine if an investigation is required and conduct investigations for customer complaints. Receive, record, and store customer complaint samples appropriately. Participate in Quality Management meetings related to customer complaints. Organize and conduct meetings to discuss customer complaints with relevant departments. Generate the Annual Product Quality Review (APQR). Assist in writing Non-Conformance reports, Deviations, Consumer complaint investigations, and metrics reports. Present data in meetings and propose CAPAs to prevent reoccurrences. Follow up on CAPA implementation, verification, tracking, and closure. Participate in Internal Quality Audits, report observations, and communicate concerns through verbal and written reports. Provide GMP training to other departments as needed. Research and prepare data for monthly quality metrics reporting. Assist in any projects or tasks assigned by the Manager. WHO YOU ARE Minimum of 3 years of QA/QC experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, or cosmetic industries. Strong knowledge of attribute and variable inspections, cGMP, and internal auditing processes. Positive leadership and team-building skills. Strong mathematical, technical, and problem-solving skills; decision-making, data collection, and analysis abilities. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (verbal and written). Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with SAP or other production systems is a plus. If this sounds like you, we want you on our team.
