Quality Control (QC) Inspector

To provide a staff augmentation service consisting of qualified Level II or III QC Inspectors to support sub-contractor oversight activities in accordance with the SRPPF Quality Assurance Program and the requirements of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) NQA-1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications, 2019 Edition (NQA-1–2019). The Project QC Manager will coordinate assignments based on project needs. Scope of Work

The staff augmented personnel will report to the Project QC Manager and perform the following activities under the direction of the assigned discipline (civil, electrical, mechanical/ piping/ welding, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), or receipt) QC Lead: Oversight of Subcontractor Activities: Monitor subcontractor QC activities for compliance with approved quality program, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and procedures. Through surveillance, observe subcontractor inspection, test, and examination activities related to civil, electrical, mechanical/ piping/welding, I&C, or receipt, and/or non-destructive examination (NDE) disciplines. Verify adherence to the current project drawings, specifications, codes, and standards. Provide timely feedback to the QC Lead and the QC Manager on major issues or potential concerns. Review subcontractor inspection documentation for completeness and accuracy. Inspection and Verification

Perform discipline specific inspections and tests in accordance with the applicable procedure and ITP. Sign off on hold points and inspection records when requirements are met. Documentation and Reporting

Timely completion of inspection and surveillance reports in accordance with the applicable quality procedures. Sign-off of completed inspection attributes as required. Maintain corrective action documents as necessary. Maintain clear, complete, and auditable inspection records. QC Inspectors shall perform activities in compliance with the applicable NQA-1, Edition 2019 requirements, including but not limited to: Requirement 2: Quality Assurance Program Requirement 10: Inspection Requirement 11: Test Control Requirement 12: Control of Measuring and Test Equipment Requirement 15: Control of Nonconforming Items Requirement 16: Corrective Action Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years nuclear experience performing Level II QC inspections. Current certifications in one or more disciplines: civil, welding, mechanical, electrical, receipt, I&C, or NDE. Code/standard knowledge: ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3, NQA-1, AWS D1.1/ D1.6, DOE O 414.1D and 10 CFR Part 21. Demonstrate the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and ITPs. Perform activities in compliance with Fluor Nuclear Safety Culture policy. Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables. Compliance with NQA-1, Edition 2019 requirements and project procedures. Identify and document deficiencies through the project Corrective Action Program. Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with the client, subcontractors, and project personnel. Deliverables
