Role Overview The Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP) function brings together technology, business, sector, account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs and opportunities. The S&SP organization is a catalyst for market‑leading growth, shaping and driving an integrated growth strategy across EY’s largest accounts, industry sectors, solutions, and services.
The Opportunity As a Microsoft Alliance Sales Executive (MSFT SE), you’ll be part of EY’s largest alliance and one of our fastest growing alliances. You’ll drive new business, alliance partner pipeline, and sales for EY by originating deals across three channels: clients, the MSFT field teams, and EY account teams. You’ll be a market‑facing, experienced seller and subject matter expert focused on the overall alliance sales strategy and the MSFT‑powered EY solutions relevant to Consumer Products and Retail industry clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead alliance sales activity and deliver against defined sales and pipeline targets.
Build relationships with top priority clients for joint alliance pursuits and drive sales directly in the market.
Act as a subject matter expert on the alliance program, MSFT‑powered transformations, and solutions.
Develop and maintain relevant alliance partner relationships and lead pursuits independently through the qualification phase when needed.
Focus primarily on external selling, engaging with MSFT, clients, and EY account and industry leadership.
Skills And Attributes For Success Thrive in a matrixed organization, balancing client needs with business initiatives and goals. Build and leverage networks across sales, leadership, and industry teams. Inspire stakeholders with consulting expertise and consultative influence.
To Qualify for the Role
12–15+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience in professional services, solutions, and technology.
Direct and MSFT channel sales experience.
Experience selling enterprise solutions to Consumer Products and Retail clients.
Services sales experience at a Big 4 firm or other GSI.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Azure/cloud, Data & AI, cyber, and Power Platforms.
Expert client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence, and influencing skills.
Expert knowledge of EY’s Alliances, products, and services.
Solid understanding of marketplace, industry, competitive intelligence, and target account profiles.
Conflict resolution skills.
University / bachelor’s degree.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Technical IT background and/or delivery management leadership experience.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Team selling experience.
Ability to travel.

What We Offer You Base salary range $221,410 to $280,070 (plus incentive). For NYC Metro Area, Washington State, and California: $265,650 to $318,290 plus incentives. Comprehensive benefits including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), paid time off and flexible vacation policy.
Hybrid working model: 40–60% in‑person in the course of a project or year.
