Position Overview
Phoenix Defense is currently seeking applicants for Electronic Technician Maintenance II positions supporting the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS). Position Responsibilities
Maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of training devices. Perform preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Perform inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines. Capture and record accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repairs are annotated into MIS. Apply basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems. Supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians’ work. Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Read and interpret schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance. Travel to other installations and W-TRS locations as required. Minimum Qualifications
2–5 years of experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting. Intermediate computer and networking skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Must have an Electronics Technician Certification. Must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities
Excellent written and oral communication, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel). Job Context / Physical Demands
