Talent Acquisition Associate Manager @ AMG Companies: AmeriCo. Group, Basic Resources, USA Legwear, PVH Legwear, and High Life The Senior Textile and Trim Coordinator will work closely with the Product Development team as well as cross-functional teams within the activewear business. This person will ensure fabric development is executed to the standard of leading brands and our largest retail partnerships. We’re seeking someone with knowledge of fabric construction and dye methods, as well as a good color eye. The ideal candidate will also have leadership skills and experience working under tight deadlines. Responsibilities

Fabric Development & Research Collaborate with the design team, and mills to develop and source fabrics aligned with seasonal concepts and brand identity. Request and track sample yardage, lab dips, knit downs, hand looms, strike-offs, and fabric headers from mills/suppliers. Research and recommend new fabrications based on market trends, innovation, and performance needs. Communicate and partner with overseas factories to execute desired fabrications, washes, and treatments. Troubleshoot and work through additional fabric options when issues arise during the development stage of the product lifestyle, mitigating risk during bulk production. Evaluate fabric submissions for hand feel, performance specs, wash, and finish. Fabric Management Maintain and update the physical and digital fabric libraries, ensuring materials are properly labeled, organized and in stock. Input and maintain accurate fabric details in the Centric PLM system. Ensure material information is shared and accessible across cross-functional teams (design, tech, sourcing, merchandising, PD). Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare seasonal fabric boards and presentations for internal line reviews and buyer meetings. Organize and maintain presentation materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with final line. Market & Trend Research Conduct seasonal competitive market shopping to gather insight on emerging fabric trends and material applications across men’s and women’s activewear and streetwear categories. Analyze and present key findings and fabric direction relevant to the brands aesthetic and consumer. Communication, Support & Sustainability Act as a liaison with fabric mills and vendors to ensure timely development and delivery of materials. Manage fabric development calendars, follow up on deadlines, and support the PD team. Attend development meetings and provide fabric status updates. Stay informed on sustainable material developments and certifications and support the organization’s sustainability initiatives through material choices. Work with development assistants on seasonal color cards and costing requests. Testing & Compliance Coordinate with internal teams or 3rd party labs for fabric testing as needed (e.g., colorfastness, pilling, shrinkage, performance tests). Track and manage testing reports and ensure compliance with internal standards and brand requirements. Qualifications

BA in Textiles or closely related field 4+ years of Product Development or relevant work experience in the apparel industry Ability to work onsite in an office environment Experience communicating with vendors Knowledge of both knit and woven fabric construction as well as garment wash and fabric dye methods Understanding of garment construction, fabric construction, finishes, performance textiles, lifestyle CVC, and technical materials; those relevant to activewear and lifestyle brands is a plus Strong color eye and keen trend awareness Understanding of apparel production processes Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment PLM experience is a plus (Centric PLM highly preferred) Fabric testing and lab certification knowledge is a plus Sustainability knowledge (OEKO-TEX, GRS, etc.) is a plus Familiarity working with knit and woven mills, both domestic and international is a plus Prior experience with licensed brands or branded collaborations is a plus Annual salary starting at $65,000 The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
