Overview
Technical/Professional - Buyer/Procurement Analyst Responsibilities
Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts. Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Source and purchase electronic components, build-to-print parts, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies in support of various programs. Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to help establish price objectives. Keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes and confer with suppliers to analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect prices and ensure lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Review proposals, negotiate prices, recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. May prepare bid packages. Work with many internal and external departments and customers. Qualifications
Work location: Must be local and able to come into the office 1-2 days per week. Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 Entry level but must have some experience in similar role. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
