FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
Location: Ochsner Shreveport - 1541 Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA 71103. Note: online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Monday - Friday and rotating weekends. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.
Requirement: At least 1 year of experience required.
Pay Range: $12.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions
Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
