Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsibilities
Coordinate safety and quality functions and assist the Supervisor. This may include auditing shipments, work areas, processes, or other areas or functions as assigned by management. Ensure the warehouse is in compliance with safety and quality policies and principles. Uphold and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety and work rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards. Maintain the Document Control Center, data and records of the Quality System. Support, document and follow up on Internal Audits, QMS/QIS, and Corrective Actions raised from Internal Audits. Update visual aids, process instructions, quality procedures, corrective and preventive actions, and client documentations. Generate and update control charts and Quality QOS; review and validate all controlled documentation used and displayed throughout the plant against QIS. Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and collaborate with the Supervisor to develop improvements to employee performance and service quality. Perform plant tours to detect activities not in compliance with quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and area; develop new activities or projects as assigned. Ensure Weekly Triggers files are sent to the suppliers on a timely basis. Manage/follow up on aged material process and notify Customer for proper disposition. Manage excess/slow-moving inventory and seek disposition options. Maintain Vendor/Parts profile updates in the system; improve operations communication with Supplier and Customer. Prepare paperwork and backup data for return shipments; ensure customer responses meet service objectives. Prepare and monitor several reports to ensure compliance; coordinate cycle counts as required for Sync Report Analysis. Set up and maintain all vendor, contact, and part profile information; participate in Corrective Action and Improvement Plans. Support other areas as required. Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Must have a high school diploma or GED. Ability to handle basic statistical control methods. Must have previous Inventory experience. Current or previous experience with Quality Management System. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Computer Skills: Must possess excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Windows, and Visio. Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical Skills: Basic to intermediate level. Other: Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision; adapt to change in a fast-paced environment; experience with Quality Management System is preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in logistics/distribution environment. Experience with Internal Audits, Document Control, and Corrective Action plans. Physical Demands
