Facilities & Maintenance Manager

is responsible for overseeing all maintenance, repair, and facilities operations in an aseptic processing plant. This role ensures optimal plant performance, compliance with cGMP and safety standards, and the reliable operation of all equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in aseptic processing environments, with strong technical expertise in maintaining complex production equipment and plant utilities. Key Responsibilities

Manage, plan, and execute preventative and corrective maintenance programs for all production equipment, utilities, and building systems in an aseptic environment. Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards in all maintenance activities. Supervise, mentor, and develop the maintenance and facilities team, including scheduling, performance management, and training. Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and validation activities to support manufacturing needs. Maintain and improve facility systems including HVAC, water systems, cleanroom infrastructure, and processing equipment to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards. Develop and manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and optimize resource allocation. Implement safety programs, ensuring adherence to OSHA and internal safety policies. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement long-term solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of facilities and maintenance management experience in aseptic processing or pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing. Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements, cleanroom operations, and aseptic processing standards. Hands-on experience with production equipment, HVAC, water systems, and plant utilities. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities. Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across departments and levels. Preferred

Certification in Facilities Management or Maintenance (e.g., CMRP) Experience with plant commissioning, validation, or regulatory inspections. Seniority level
