Culinary Supervisor | Full-Time | Crown Complex Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr Oak View Group is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. The Crown Complex is a multi-purpose venue in Fayetteville, North Carolina that hosts the Crown Coliseum (indoor stadium), Crown Theater (2,400-seat), and Crown Arena (4,500-seat). This position remains open until January 2, 2026. Responsibilities
Is responsible for providing and serving guests quality food and beverage products in line with OVGH stand operating procedures. Take an active role in the preparation, plating, and service of food in the Concessions, Premium, and Catering operations. Partner with Department Leadership to supervise all aspects of the Culinary Operation. Supervise and train the Culinary Team Members. Maintain excellent attendance and be available at work events as scheduled per business need. Coordinate and supervise the work of kitchen staff. Display knowledge of culinary preparation skills and teach others proper preparation and food presentation. Assist in the control of food and labor costs. Conduct regular inspections of all locations to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet company standards. Assist with monthly inventory. Provide high quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests. Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements. Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of products. Report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment. Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking. Portion, arrange and garnish food plates for delivery to guests. Consult with Department Leadership to plan menus and estimate expected food consumption. Demonstrate the ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Qualifications
Professional culinary training or experience in a fast-paced food and beverage facility is preferred. Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen is preferred. Ability to supervise kitchen staff. Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, chef knife). Clear, business-like, respectful communication with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations. Benefits
