Position Purpose Our client is well established in the global aerospace industry, seeking an experienced QC Inspector to join their team. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all inspections of the products are performed and accepted for customer requirements and company standards.
Essential Functions
Follow quality processes & procedures to perform detailed inspection in receiving, in process and final inspection.
Complete required documentation.
Perform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications.
Document all inspections in accordance with procedures and processes.
Ensure quality standards are met for all components & assemblies for final acceptance.
Develop and review inspection plans.
Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawings.
Utilize standard measuring instruments.
Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment.
Perform visual inspection.
Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing.
GD&T knowledge.
